The Detroit Falcons weren't expected to do much of anything in playoffs, of course, considering their frankly pitiful regular season, but being swept and, unfortunately, losing many of their key players to call ups next season marks their next season as even bleaker than this one. The team proved simply incapable of dealing with every aspect of the Timber, from being unable to break down their defense to being incapable of stopping their scoring. Goaltender Thor Odinsson was unfortunately left out to dry by his defenders a few too many times, and despite his best efforts could not save them from their own mistakes. For future success, the Falcons must find a way to score. Simple as that. While the defense let their goaltender down, the larger and ever present problem was scoring. No one on the team seemed capable of answering the Timber's big guns, and as a result when the time came, the Timber easily ran over the Falcons.
