For the Kelowna Knights in round 1, it's hard to say anything went wrong with the team. We were able to go out there and sweep the Nevada Battleborn. Anytime you can end a series in 4, and do it in dominating fashion like the Knights did, there's a lot of reason to celebrate and enjoy the first round. After winning the first game 3-2, Kelowna was able to go out and shutout the Battleborn. After a hard fought first game, Nevada could've evened it up going into game 2, but they were silenced by Peter Ramsey as the Knights would take a commanding 2-0 lead in the series. After game 2, Kelowna and Nevada battled it out, but 5 goals proved to be too much for Nevada, and they saw the series slipping away now down 3-0. In game 4, the Battleborn had it close and could have won for a while, but in period 3 Kelowna blew the doors open and went up 6-2, an insurmountable late game lead that saw them bring the brooms out and complete the sweep.
