I'm honestly kind of stunned. When I re-joined the team (kinda) as a DFA all the way back in Season 53 and if someone would have told me then I'd be captaining the squad 3 seasons later I wouldn't believe them. Since then all I've ever gotten from our GMs and the team mates have been trust, kindness and love. My goal has always been to be part and help create a wonderful environment for all our saplings to grow in, so we can one day conquer and lift that ever elusive cup. How I would do it, I didn't care. From what position, I didn't care. To actually be named captain was nothing more than a pipeline dream.

So thank you to both of @Citizen of Adraa and @CementHands. You guys have been nothing but absolutely incredible to me and everyone else on the team. The way you've built this team is nothing short of great, and I thank you both for the faith you are putting me to fill these enormous shoes.

Speaking of those shoes, a big shoutout (once more) to both of you @suavemente and @Rabidsponge21. You've shown the way of what it means to be a Timber. Always pushing, always hyping, always helping. Always showing that the team goes first. When we manage to win the cup, know that you played an enormous part in it.

But also, a big congratulations to both of you @Cobbenstein and @AgentSmith630 (the takeover continues). 2 fantastic, amazingly positive and dedicated guys. I couldn't be more happy about having you two by my side as we lead this team to become the tallest trees in the forest.
