How do you feel player awards, such as best defencemen in the SHL are impacted by above average players on bad teams being able to rack up counting stats and how that should be accounted for? Furthermore, when evaluating a player, what is the best way to do so? Especially when comapring a big goal scorer to a two-way forward, what kind of metrics should be looked at to determine overall impact (if any)?
