2. Position: Right Winger 3. Recreate or First-Gen? First-Gen 4b. If you're a first-gen: How did you find the site? Heard about it a few times from people in the VHL. Eventually was RomanesEuntDomus that convinced me to join here. 5. Discord Username: Trevor#4690 --- 1. Do you follow any hockey teams outside of the SHL, be they in the NHL or other hockey leagues? I follow the NHL pretty religiously. I'm a Jets fan first and foremost. 2. How many hours a week do you usually have free? (ie. 1, 3, 6+, etc.) I have a lot of free time, but I am also involved in a lot of sim leagues. So as far as free time I can devote to SHL goes, probably a couple of hours. 3. Is water wet? No. 4. Locker rooms take place on discord. Do you use it and how often? If not, would you be willing to try it to be a part of your team’s locker room? I use it, and fairly often, but I'm in a lot of channels so it can be hard to keep up sometimes. I check in on occasion and I'll always respond to pings, etc... I could make more of an effort to join into conversation sometimes. In any case I'm definitely around. 5. You can spend 1-5 seasons in juniors. Most elect to spend 3-4, but you may want to spend more time because you actually like juniors, or you might spend less, because you are ambitious and want to make it to the SHL as fast as possible. How long do you think you'll spend in the J? I'd like to get to the SHL, but not before my player's ready. I want to earn enough points to make the transition without being useless at the next level. So, probably 3, maybe 4 seasons in juniors. 6. Have you ever heard about Kelowna before joining this league? Yes. 7. Do you have any experience with FHM? None. I've heard it's comparable-ish to EHM though which I do have experience with. 8. What is your general life philosophy? You can go into as much detail as you want. Just be nice to people, I suppose. 9. Please finish the following sentence: “Defense is _______________.” An important piece of any good team. I think there's plenty of room in the game for creative offensive players that aren't good defensively; hockey's about creating a good team, players don't have to individually be good at everything. But as a team on the whole, you certainly need to be competent in your own end to win. 10. What do you value in your team locker room? Camaraderie, having someone to bounce questions/ideas off of if I need help with the league or something. Obviously, people that are nice to each other, minimal bickering. 11. What do you put on your pizza? Do you order any sides or drinks with it? uh, pepperoni and bacon, sometimes with green olives... that's my go-to. But I like ham & pineapple, any kind of meat lovers. Chicken and peppers or onions or something with alfredo sauce is good. Lots of different things, but no mushrooms or tomatoes. 12. What type of player are you looking to build? Are you looking to play a more offensive or defensive role? Offensive. But I plan to be at least able to hold my own defensively too. |
