The Anchorage Armada engaged in some repetitive chanting as a team-building exercise this offseason. Most players were clearly more used to trust falls and other more conventional team-building exercises, and the rookies were particularly slow to join in. The coaches began the chanting, shortly followed by team captain Michael Withecheck and other prominent tenured players such as Slava Petrov. Jay Sink and the other rookies soon found themselves joining in, and the whole team was chanting in unison "Anchorage is not a toxic locker room! Anchorage is not a toxic locker room!" until their throats were dry and their voices were hoarse. Jay Sink and the other rookies came away brainwashed convinced that the Anchorage Armada locker room is not toxic and find themselves thoroughly excited for the season ahead and the rest of their time in Anchorage. Asked about the exercise by a member of the team's media department, Jay Sink replied "It was great! I loved the exercise and I love Anchorage!". The interviewer turned to two other players for additional quotes, who repeated the exact words in the same enthusiastic tone. (184 words)
