The Anaheim Outlaws had the young team go on a team-building exercise over the past weekend so the players could get to know one another better. The exercise was to go to into Disneyland blindfolded. One person, the sighted leader, had to lead the others on the path from the gates all the way to Space Mountain, on the ride and back again. Bob Duncan was a good leader. So was Sekai Wiollker. Arty Tumovs led everyone to the tea cup ride instead but it was funny.
It definitely helped all the players to be aware and familiar of each others voices and who to be looking for when they are all calling the action on the ice. Sometimes a player will need to change the rehearsed play if one is not in the right place. Being vocal and loud and sure will help the guys to be a better team and work together. Also it helped to trust the voice that was calling out directions. Fun was had by all and no one puked. Many Mickey shakes were drunk. It was a good day. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
