The Kraken's team building exercise was eventful, to say the very least.

The send downs and coaches told all of the rookies to pack up all of their equipment to go on a trip. They were then blindfolded and loaded onto a team bus. Fast forward, they stepped off the bus and found themselves in a winter wonderland. A few feet of snow and a frozen over lake. The rookies have no idea how they found snow in near Carolina, but there they are. They were told to get ready to skate and put their equipment on by the send downs, who were already dressing. They did what they were told and got on the ice, where they did various drills and teamwork exercises. For Blixtstrom, this was totally normal as he had played on OHRs his whole life, but the more inexperienced members struggled. At the end of the day, they felt a lot closer as a team and were excited to do it again the next year.
