The biggest Story line so far this season is the current ranking of the teams thus far. It is still too early to tell how the teams will rank once everything is set and done but at the moment we have some crazy surprises. In the east, the biggest suprise has to be the Toronto North Stars. From being nowhere as competitive last season to completely dominating this season is just crazy. They are actually ahead of the Steelhawks as we speak right now, which is not something many predicted. They do have a really nice roster with players like Bobby Lane, Adam Barron, Mika Kadinsky and who can forget Harry Carpet. Its impressive that Carpet stuck with the team so long to see them flourish like this. I believe he is the highest tpe ranked goalie in the entire franchise. Do i think their streak will continue? Yes, but i dont think they will finish ahead of Hamilton. The other surprise is in the west. The Texas Renegades are really ahead of their conference. Everyone thought it would be between Calgary and Edmonton to lead the West but this is incorrect. I don't think anyone predicted the Renegades to do this well. Some think its because they have an easier schedule early on and that is why they are currently ranked so high. I do think there is some truth to this because if you look at their roster, it is not as deep as some of the teams we have in this league. I personally think they are overperforming at the moment and could slow down.
