I don't know how I talk about a storyline without mentioning one I'm currently in the middle of! The Kelowna Knights came off a disappointing playoff performance last year, and made some moves in the off-season to gear the team up for an all-in drive for the Four Star Cup. So far this season the Knights (at the time of writing) are four points back from the league leading Citadelles, and are very close in the goals for/against category. It will be very exciting to see how things develop moving later into the year. At the end of the season, the Knights are going to lose many capped players to the SHL. While this may not be the end for the young core of the team, the window is almost shut for the older players about to make their big jump. I know that regardless of the outcome on the ice, we've had an absolute blast in the locker room. This team is special, and is full of some awesome people.
