I think the biggest storyline of the season so far would be the shocking shortage of chicken at Calgary's Big Parm. It appears that the hatchery on the roof of the Big Parm is missing several dozen chickens. Noone can seem to figure out what happened to them, whether it was a rival team trying to take away the Dragon's parm power or perhaps a greedy person who feels like he isn't getting his fair share of the parms. Suspicion right away fell on the rival Edmonton Blizzard but it was soon determined they didn't have the stones to pull off such a daring heist. So it was determined it had to be an inside job. And who do you suppose was the first suspect? Why of course the giant Esa Parmborg who is notorious for hogging down all the parms at the training table. His locker was thoroughly searched but no clues were found that would lead to him being the culprit. After several days a strange smell was noticed near the locker of retired Dragon Hall of Famer Mike Izzy. Sure enough chicken shit was found smeared all over one of Izzy's uniforms. So a hidden camera was set up and the culprit turned out to be none other than Izzy's son #A-rye Izzy, sneaking in at night and slipping on his father's old uniform to move about inconspicuously. When confronted his explanation was he needed all the parms to build up his strength faster to be called up to the big club more quickly. He was then punished by making him clean the chicken coops with a toothbrush.
