Media Graders Loveable Buttnugget
There are a couple of storylines that we can look at in the league as of today, the first one being the rise of the Texas Renegades as a power in the West. Leading the league in goals for and against, the Renegades were already showing signs of greatness last season as their core of young players finally got into prime position to compete in the west. A lot can also be attributed to a weak division, with both New Orleans & San Francisco needing a serious rebuild but they’ve been winning against more than their division.
In the East, a very similar story is happening with the Toronto North Stars. A solid young team, in a brutal Great Lakes division that sees all it’s members with a higher point total than the Atlantic teams, Toronto is finally reaching their prime and is able to competing with Hamilton, Buffalo and Chicago. In what will be the tightest division of all for a long time still. The North Stars have as equal a chance as any of these to be first as to be last and miss the playoffs this year. (190 words) |
