Well one thing for sure, playing in Edmonton the story line will always be about the Blizzard. But this season some attention has been brought forth towards the recent surge in play of the Texas Renegades who by the way are first overall in the league by merely three points on the hated Hamilton Steelhawks. But back to the Blizzard if you don't mind, much of the attention this off season was placed on the general manager. A blatant mistake that could of happened to anyone has landed the Blizzard with a hefty salary cap fine. But even though with this handicap, the season story has quickly shifted towards the play on the ice of the collective group. Sitting in second place in the West behind none other the Renegades, the Blizzard are fifth best in the league. A pleasant surprise has to be the rather great play of rookie net minder Peter Ramsay who we could not ask for more. Appearing in 28 games thus far and has collected 17 wins with a GAA of 2,89 and a save percentage of 0,903. He also has recorded two shut outs already.
