I'm sure its pretty much everyones answer but I am really pleased to see the emergence of Toronto in the Great Lakes. Its not a surprise to see them tied for Hamilton for first in the East though. You can see clear progression for this club if you look through the past few seasons standings. They've only been getting better each season and this season they've finally managed to break through. Wouldn't it be a story line if one of last seasons best team and the Challenge Cup champs missed the playoffs this season? It's hard to tell if it'll be Buffalo who misses the playoffs or Chicago who sits a few points back of the Stampede but do have a couple games in had.

A storyline that I am a little more invested in is my teammate Barret Blackwood's season. Currently sits two points back of Bobby Sharp for league lead while having a few extra games on most people at the top. My 1/3 season hot take is Blackwood is going to lead the league in scoring when the season is all said and done.
