If there's one topic that would be worth writing a big article about, it's the situation of the Great Lakes division. There's been a very solid fight between the Hamilton Steelhawks, the Buffalo Stampede, the Chicago Syndicate and last but not least the Toronto North Stars. This division was also very tight last season, and Toronto missed out on the playoffs while they probably deserved it more than some other teams. But this season, it's even worse than last season. All four teams are very very very strong. Toronto proved that they could compete with the other 4 by starting off the season with a very strong start. Currently, Chicago misses the playoffs. But this story isn't over. It will be only until all 66 games are played that we will know who will miss the playoffs, and there's a good chance that all four teams in the division end with over 90 points, but one of them HAS to miss playoffs regardless, unfortunately.
