It should come as no surprise to anyone that the rink needs updating. But entertainment has taken over so much of our lives, that we need to incorporate some elements that will make the masses giddy. 

As such, the following should be considered:
1. If a player commits a major penalty, fans are allowed to throw any objects on the ice while the player stands at the center ice for 20 seconds 
2. A second, much smaller net is to be added, inside of the main goal. If a player hits this spot, they start the next faceoff up a man.
3. A player from each team will be suspended above the ice as a 6th player. They will be parallel to the ice and will be equipped with a battering ram to knock players uncontrollably off their feet. The fans will enjoy this one. 
4. If a player commits a high sticking penalty, instead of going to the box for 5 minutes, they will have to play without their skates and a tiny stick, which will be highly embarrassing.
