So what I'm thinking, and something that I've honestly always wanted to see but never have, is basically combining hockey with pinball. The idea of a pinball machine that is hockey themed gets me really excited, so why not do the opposite and turn a hockey rink into pinball instead of the other way around? You have bumpers at the face-off circles and other various point zones in the neutral zone. Of course, as the game is hockey, scoring goals in the opponent's net is by far the #1 way to get points, but you can also get extra bonus points for how many bumpers are hit, goals scored off of a bumper hit, etc. Oh and turn all of the boards and glass into one giant bumper. This way when players go crashing into the boards, they are hilariously and violently shot back into the middle of the ice. I see nothing going wrong with this at all and will surely turn SHL into a multi-billion dollar league.
