On the player level, this was a very good season. Adam Barron finished with the most points of any defenseman and had great possession numbers with his perennial D partner Axel Meszaros. I think I had a good enough season to be nominated for the Stevens (best D) and it feels great to put up strong numbers in what is probably going to be my second-best season TPE wise. Goals, Assists, Plus/Minus, shots, hits, and shot blocks were all career highs this season.

(I know it’s not technically a part of the question, but the user behind the player had a great time this season too.)

On the team level, this was a very good season. Toronto finished way above expectations, not only making the playoffs but doing so in 2nd in the Great Lakes division and behind only Texas and Hamilton in points. Though the play-in against San Francisco was a much closer matchup than I expected, it’s always good to finish as best as you can. S58 has me very excited for the future with Toronto, and I’m looking forward to how we can do once some of our younger players start hitting their prime.
