After working extremely hard every day for months on end it is actually pretty tough to wind down for a day off. With Baltimore being such a big city there are tons of things to go do, but Baltimore is only an hour drive from Washington D.C. Patrick spent his day off in Washington D.C. taking in the various sights of our nations capitol with some of his teammates. With the different nationalities on the team it was very interesting to hear everyone's perspective on the different monuments and they nations history and capital as a whole. Overall it was a pretty great day our with the boys and it was much better than wandering around Baltimore worried that you might murdered or stabbed. Days off are always kind of weird because most players in this league are such workaholics that taking any down time is tough, but it is extremely necessary to both physical and mental health.
