If I had a day off from hockey, you would find me on the golf course. This isn't a surprise for those who know me. Honestly, if it wasn't for hockey I'd be on the links 24/7 and it's arguably more enjoyable. Nothing beats a sunny day, couple cold ones, the boys, some good tunes and screaming at the ball, yourself, and anything else to blame for your poor shots. There's nothing quite like looking up and admiring the flight and arc of your putter as it soars into the lake after a three whack. One of my favourite parts of golfing is when it gets real serious, you focus up and really hit the gas to ensure that your buddy's golf cart doesn't pass you on the upcoming turn. The only thing better than playing golf is spending the next seven hours on the patio sucking back beers and then crawling your way into an uber.
