2) The Season 58 Simulation Major Junior Hockey League draft was one of the most important moments in Shane Duffy Jrs. youn career to date. Finally being able to play in the developmental league for what is often considered the biggest and best simulation hockey league, how could SDJ not be excited. Going into the draft, it could have been said that Duffy Jr. was a relatively unknown prospect, especially when compared to some of his bigger and better draftmates. All this meant that it was most definitely an unexpected, albeit pleasant surprise to Duffy Jr. when he found out that the Quebec City Citadelles were planning on drafting him in the first round of the draft with their tenth overall pick. Duffy was obviously over the moon with this news and as soon as he heard it he got out and the ice and began working hard to impress his new team. This working out obviously paid off for Duffy as the Lá Panthers also selected Duffy with their first round pick in the S59 major league draft.
