an unexpected event in simulation hockey history is the s42 winnipeg jets who ended up missing the playoffs. the simulation hockey league franchise known as the winnipeg jets who played in the simulation hockey league western conference were a powerhouse in s41 and s43, winning the presidents trophy in each of those years if i am remembering correctly. for some reason in season fourty two of the simulaiton hockey league the simulation hockey league franchise known as the winnipeg jets did not do too hot, despite having a roster that was very simliar to the prevoius and future presidents trophy winners, and chalk full of future hall of famers and some of hte greatest players to every touch simulation hockey league ice. i guess in the end this can be chalked up to a simon t thing that happens once in a while, where a good team will jsut do bad. this ended up working out for the jets though as they were able to draft lil manius in the first round because of their resulting high pick, who was a beast of a player
