Break Down of Maine Timber's draft picks (x2 Media)
#1

Maine Timbers Outline
Round 3 #25: Randy Marsh (@LucidDreams702)
The first pick from the Timbers was used on a guy from South Park, some may question why but I will clear that up for you. What the Timbers see in this defenseman is a big brute that will walk the line and let a clapper fly. he wants to build a defensive monster but while also not limiting his offense ability, the new defense man wants to turn his guy into "an all-around weapon who is not afraid to drop the gloves." but also stating that he doesn't want fighting to be his main focus he wants to have fun not just with making his player but in the locker room with the rest of the new Saplings! Randy will sure be one to look out for in the coming seasons.
Management reason for the pick: "Randy was one of our top targets for the entire draft and we were thrilled that he was still available at the 25th. He was a DFA in Maine last season and fit into our culture perfectly. We really feel like we have a future top-paring guy in Randy"

Round 3 #28: Rusty Remao (@Sly92)
The Talented goalie with high hope will look to fulfill it with the Timbers as stated himself "I'm hoping that I will become one of the greats for the SMJHL" he wants to help take the timbers to the next level in hopes to win the cup. His goals are to increase in skill and effectiveness over the season as a backup to help take the starting role next season and continue to gain a family-type relationship with all the team and put his name in the timbers history books. His main goal is to win the cup but his personal goal is to obtain one of the highest if not the highest SV% in the league within the next two seasons.
Management reason for the pick: "Arguably our mission is the draft was to find a backup for Bloody Oath. Sly/Rusty was one of South's favourite scouting conversation and we think we have the goalie of Maine's future with this pick. Rusty will be getting a few starts in Maine and we're looking forward to seeing how he does."

Round 4 #38: Big Newff (@Big Newff)
The Left-Winger makes his way into the Timbers and he "wants to light teams up this season" the tricky winger has got a blistering shot, silky smooth hands, and will hope to work on his defense part of his game coming to the start of the season. after some okay glimpses in the prospect game, he looks to increase on those games and take his to the next level, and with the Timbers, he will be able to do that. He told me he wants to model his player so he has the offensive threat of David Pasternak but also the grit of Brad Marchand so not only will he bring the offense but he will also pick ur pocket and get u with a heavy hit. His goal as a whole would also be to win the cup but on a personal goal, it would be to break a scoring record and leave his name in the Timber history books.
Management reason for the pick: "Going into this pick we had a few targets and knew we had a shot at getting some fantastic players. Newff had some strong responses in the lead-up to the draft that we liked and having someone who could help us destroy Newfoundland once and for all was someone we had to bring on board."
Round 4 #40: Michael Robertson (@Locagiess)
The rookie defense-man looks to better himself for the first seasons as he is looking to make an all-round defense-man that will shut down your attackers and also be able to help bolster the attack, this is his first season in the SHL the timbers have faith in him and we will soon know why. he will hopefully bring a lot to the table as he not only is active in the locker room he is always open to help and wants to be the best player he can make and is always open for help from an older player or the management team. He doesn't really have a set goal at the moment he just wants to see how he goes for his first season.
Management reason for the pick: "Another thing we wanted to do in this draft was et our defense for the next two/three-season through this draft. There were a lot of strong defensive prospects in the draft and Locagiess was someone we liked through scouting. We can't wait to see what he does."

Round 4 #42: Ida-mae Man (@jerometuna)
The center men joins the team as a guy who wants to win but also wants to learn how to improve and what to improve on he brings on that steady face-off wins and his two-way ability is second to none he won't only punish you on offense but he will also backcheck as you've never seen before, he's going to bring good depth to the center position and possibly work his way into the special teams as he improves, he wants to model his player after Ellias Petterson which will turn out amazing in the long run and hopefully he will make a name for himself.
Management reason for the pick: "We needed another center on board with Miguel Hefeweizen traded on Saturday. JeromeTuna had some strong responses to our scouting questions that made me believe that he is someone who will be easy to coach. He will get some opportunity in our top 6 this season."

Round 5 #52: Luka Kovacsova (@Slav1cThor)
The Defensive mastermind was heavily slept on in the draft and with his high hopes of being able to model his player after Cale Maker but also mixing in some fee\atures from Pietrangelo, he wants to make a nippy defense-man with amazing playmaking ability so he can not only shut you down the whole game but also be able to make u regret not having a guy putting pressure on him the whole game. his choice for this build is he always liked a quick defense-man who can dictate a game by himself and now he is ready to do it himself. His goals are to break PPG and lead rookie defense-man in scoring.
Management reason for the pick: "we're still trying to process this steal. We did not really have much time pre-draft to properly scout Luka but he put out an incredible piece of media before the draft that put him on our radar. I'm saying this now Luka is the steal of the draft all the way down at the 52nd."

Round 7 #76: Christian Bolduc (@Geordie88)
The 69th player that was picked was Christian he is a big defense-man who will look to install fear in your top players as he wants to build a big, shut-down type defender. like Scott Stevens. he is the inspiration for this player. "I always admire how players had to adapt when he was on the ice and how he was able to control the game with his body. Imagine a modern-day defense-man who could limit the usefulness of Matthew Barzal, Mitch Marner, and Johnny Gudreau by installing a sense of fear into them." he just warned your top winger to look out for him on the ice when you play the Maine Timbers.
Management reason for the pick: "Mr.69... the 69th selected player in the draft comes to Maine as we see some potential in Christian. Still trying to get him to join us on discord but we are hoping somehow every team missed this pick"
Overall Thoughts:
I think that the Maine Timbers are going to be a very strong side in the coming season they have gone for an approach to help set their defensive side of their game in the next few seasons while also picking up some key forwards and a backup goalie, they are the dark horses in the league in my opinion after maybe not a good finish last season but they were able to get it done in the playoffs and made it to the quarter-finals where they lost to Newfoundland, they look to change the outcome this season with the entry of the new guys I cant wait to see how it turns out for them, also how the rookies can develop and how big of an impact they will be in the process. Not only are the Timber building for the future and building a team they are all growing together as a forest and are all there to help each other.
Breaking News!
This just in we have word that the Maine Timber have made with the Anaheim Outlaws!
Anaheim is set to receive a 3rd round pick for the next season's entry draft from Kelowna which was obtained in another trade with Nevada before the draft.
Maine is set to receive Rob Ford (@Aidan293) the center has already got his SHL team when he gets called up which would be Chicago. The hard-working forward in Rob Ford not only love to punish the team with his scoring threat but he outworks his opponents and gives them a tough time trying to take the puck off him. he looks to set up shop around the circle as his blistering shot troubles any goalie from there. The goal for Rob is to be the best he can be and help win a championship, he wants to help the team and make sure they strive in every element.
Management reason for the pick: "We wanted to bring in more youth talent that will help develop the team overall and Rob seems to be a great fit."
