SMJHL Media Rules

(This post was last modified: 06-16-2021, 10:47 AM by Leafs4ever.)

My apologies on this everyone, but I am posting this to clear this issue up with everyone. So when @Zoone16 and myself fixed up the media rules we also streamlined them so both leagues had the same rules which would make the transition between leagues as smooth as possible. There has been a confusion on one of the rules in regards to SMJHL media bonus week. Articles that are over 5000 words only get a bonus on the first 5000 words, with the rest being paid out at the regular rate. I had assumed people knew it was for both leagues, I was wrong.

So, starting now, to be clear, any and all SHL and SMJHL media rules are one and the same.

For people who have posted 5000+ articles in the SMJHL during this double media week, your pay will be fixed. Going forward, if you have a big article ready for a double bonus week, we suggest splitting the article up so that each one is under 5000 words, that way you can get the x2 on everything you have written.

Sorry for the confusion, and thank you for understanding.
