Eko van Otter is known for being one of the stinkiest players to ever set foot on the ice. any success he's ever had (which isn't much in the first place) can be owed to other players not wanting to get near him because of the ever-present stench of fish surrounding the guy. Teammates and fans like him, but only from a distance - there's no up close and personal with this player. His talents on the ice are rather limited on their own - low hockey IQ, no scoring touch, weak moves, turnstile defense. His team success is dependent on other players, like guide zheng, dick clamper, red kirby, and nathan explosion. otter on his own is simply not good enough to get it done, as evidenced by his only cup coming from the Buffalo S55 superteam. He's never even been captain of any of his teams  - not even an alternate - a demonstration that his leadership skills in the locker room are clearly lacking.
