Ole Olson (born 15 November 2022) is a Norwegian professional ice hockey defenceman for the New Orleans Specters of the Simulation Hockey League. Olson was selected fourteenth overall in the Season 58 draft. He was the third pick for the Specters after Friedensreich Hundertwasser and Nikolaj Boyle.
Playing Career: Olson signed an Unrostered Free Agent contract with the Vancouver Whalers at the end of Season 56; the team went on to win the Four Star Cup without Olson. Olson was selected eleventh overall by the Carolina Kraken in the S57 SMJHL draft, and went on to play three seasons with the Kraken. While never making it past the first round of playoffs in Carolina, Olson was unable to find much success in the World Junior Championships either. He won his is lone piece of hardware, a bronze medal, came in his last season of play before becoming ineligible for future tournaments. Olson was called up after playing three seasons in the Juniors and has helped the team to an 0-5 start to the season. ![]() |
