Assuming it's with my family, I'm looking forward to it, albeit hesitant. A lot of my family follows hockey quite a bit and watches most of my games, in particular. I always get loads of questions asking about the team, my performances, our aspirations, if I have any gossip on the league... it can be exhausting. Overall, my family is extremely proud of me. My father played hockey, so the fact that I get to play at the highest level is amazing for him, and my mum. That being said, my dad more than anyone will berate me about this and this when it comes to skating. Whether it's not enough point production, or too much time in the box, he'll be in my face about anything I can improve on. He's gotten better over the years, but family reunions bring out the worst in everyone with the energy being multiplied with the amount of people. But, family is family. They love me, so I love them.
Now if it's my girlfriend's family... they don't follow hockey. But I get even worse questions like "do you have a real job?" and stuff like that. Sigh.
