I have been lucky to have been part of two amazing locker rooms my year and a bit so far on the site. I'm so happy to be part of both the Quebec City Citadelles locker room and the Chicago Syndicate locker room. For QCC, there's a reason why nobody ever wants to leave, everyone there is so approachable, welcoming to new members, and easy to talk to, and like great friends they're always there when you need them. This infectious attitude has caused so many of our alumni to stick around and chat in the locker room too, which makes it even better. From how active the QCC LR is, you wouldn't know that the team is only in their seventh season. As for Chicago, coming in I felt like a bit of an outsider since most of the team knew each other beforehand from the Newfoundland Berserkers, and also this was my first time joining a team that was already established and had people that were friends with each other, but all of these feelings of being an outsider quickly went away when I joined the team. I'm so happy to be part of the Syndicate, everyone there is so kind, down to earth, and I love all our little routines and traditions.
