Well the playoffs are over for us now so it seems our preparations must have fell somewhat short. They mostly consisted of throwing our backup, McLavish in the net and just taking turns scoring on him. We figured it would raise our morale a bit and give our guys that taste for scoring. We haven't heard him say anything since the start of the season so of course we assumed he was fine with this too. In hindsight it probably meant our actual starter didn't get as much practice in as was probably needed but it is what it is.

Off the ice, our group is a very hard working bunch and spent a lot of time typing out media, making graphics, and much more so we could fund our personal training sessions ourselves. You'd think the team would step in and fund this, but no, we believe that forcing our guys to come up with their own money for this gives us a competitive edge to make it through the playoffs.

Next season we'll probably do all this again.
