So to get ready for the playoffs, the Anchorage Armada needs a lot of training to at least hope to make it past one round. They had an average at best regular season, so to get far in the playoffs, all the basics were covered. The coaches wanted to build the players from the ground up, to make sure that if they lose, it was really because the other team was really better, not because we made some stupid dumb mistakes. So all players learned how to skate properly, how to do a proper pass, how to shoot a puck, and all that. After that we did go into some more in depth tactics, to surprise the opposing team. If we went into the playoffs with different tactics than the ones we had during the season, the opposing team couldn't counter us in advance and they would need to adapt in the playoffs, but that left them not much time to learn their new tactics. That's how we plan to get to the cup.
