Hockey Prompt

So, hear me out. Czechia has gone over fourty seasons without a gold. This medal chase has gone on long enough that it has changed Czechia's entire society. All of the players born in the Czech Republic now have a burning passion to climb that mountain and be on the national team. The Czech people itself have been reshaped by the heartbreak and hunger that results afterwards of every season's race for medal, so much so that recently a coup d'etat took place that replaced those in power with those who had more of a "blank cheque" so to speak, being given permission by the people to do whatever it takes to achieve glory, a dangerously passionate nationalist sentiment.

Drastic measures have since been taken. The Czech nation has become more militarized than ever and aggressively isolates itself against a few nations whom it despises in the international hockey theatre. Laboratories have even undergone extreme programs to create the perfect hockey player, some say they've already made one and they are currently playing in the SHL under direct command of the State Security Services and that it may or may not be. I'm not confirming or denying, don't ask me how I was named or about any childhood memories though.
