Even if the series is currently 3-1 in favor of the Chicago syndicates, I would go all in for Atlanta. Some would say that’s it’s not a responsible bet, but I believe in goldengluts and hotdoge. Legend says that the challenge cup came centuries before the simulation hockey league was born. It’s been forged by Micool the First in the oldest Trois-Rivières forge. The Micool family use to play hockey on the frozen Saint-Lawrence river and the winner of the family tournament was awarded the challenge cup. In the past, it was just a small disk and all the winners of the family competition were written on it. They played for centuries until hawk in steel challenged them to a hockey game. Micool54 was sure to win and he betted the cup. He lost and there have been rumors of foul plays. Micool ancestors were not able to prove it. For generations the Micools have been trying to win in back and they even created an expression “ Im gonna win the cup”.

Micool132 is now playing in the SHL for the Atlanta inferno and he is on the verge of winning the cup. Praise Micool.


For this task ill answer all of the prompt questions. First I think that the most prestigious cup belongs to the SHL. It takes a minimum one IRL year to build a franchise and reap the fruits of our effort. It takes a full locker room of people being actives week after week and buying into a system crafted by a skillful gm. Even with you do this you face mastodonte like Hamilton that seems impossible to win. In the J you can have fake active and the cycle is way shorter. 

The SHL skillset is harder to manage for all the reasons that I said in my last paragraph. The biggest skill that a J gm needs is the ability to scout new-gen and makes them stick to the game. SHL gm has a better idea of the player capacity. Three challenge cups is cooler. It’s harder and it means that Hamilton lost 3 time in his career. BUT I would like to have a four-star cup one day

It would be really easy to transform the SHL in a capitalist hell hole. I can do it for cheaper than two million dollars. First I would tie the TPE to the ICE cards. No more weekly training and activity checks. You gain tpe by battling your cards. Your card team does a weekly game against another user and if you win you get 5 tpe. League job would stop paying money and I would use the money from the 2 million dollars to pay the minimum wage maintainer. The cards would only be buyable with real money. There would be a free-to-play currency too but it would be really hard to get. After that I would create a flashy mobile app with a lot of numbers and animation. It would be possible to buy cosmetics for your player. I would destroy all the LR and replace it with a fake LR full of bots. We don’t want the users to talk to each other and complain.
