Drafted in S47, 16th OV, New England Drafted Slap McShotty on 4/8/19. Over 3 years later, we are here to honor him, and what he did to the Franchise. If there is someone who is the essence of what New England was, it is him. Also known as bbyjm, he has done so much for the franchise, and the site in general. For is SHL Accomplishments He is the first player in Wolfpack History to play over 1000 games in the Wolfpack Jersey He is the first player in Wolfpack History to score over 700 points He is first in Goals, Assists, Points, T-1st in Power Play Points. He won the Jeff Dar Award He was a 1st team all star in S53 He has been Captain of the Wolfpack for 10 seasons Here are some words from his friends, and teammates from over the years Ace - Slap was always a guy that was pretty low-key, but was as team-first as any other member I've interacted with on the site in my 11 years here. He's incredibly intelligent, and still helps me from time to time with coding and sheet issues. He was a stand-up member of the Wolfpack during my time there, and I cherished my time that I was his manager and teammate. BluesFan - slap was probably one of the greatest teammates i've ever had. he's got jokes for days, enthusiastic as ever, and just a joy to be around. i've been lucky to play with him at the shl and iihf level and he's just been awesome. his introduction to the wolfpack hof is thoroughly deserved. Sergei - "i wil never forgret Slap McHotty" Gordie - Slap fully deserves a place in the HOF. He is the definition of loyalty. I’ve much respect for him staying his whole career in New England, a place/team that has gone through many rebuilds. My favorite moment of Slappy and a good example of why he is a great team member is that time when he created “gordiebot”. Obviously that was a reference to my player Gordie Boomhover who quited the league despite a promising future. Although i left i still felt part of the team thanks to his bot. Ultimately i think that was also a reason why i came back with a second player. I’d like to thank Slap for that! Zema - I have nothing but good things to say about him. He was never the most talkative but his words always carried a ton of weight. He's someone that has really encapsulated what it means to play for New England during the years, never complained and always moving forward. You truly deserve this honor buddy, enjoy retirement. Hotdog - Slap McShotty was the definition of steadiness. McShotty held down the middle for New England for ages, a true professional and a positive influence throughout his long Wolfpack tenure. bbjygm is one of the most creative people I have ever met and the incredible projects he cooks up are truly in a class of their own. No one could deserve this jersey retirement more - congrats on an amazing career! Golden Glutes - i liked when he would send moose pics to the LR that was pretty sick and when we talked about random rasp pi stuff 5ympathies - Slap was on New England with me during the peak of the LR around s49 and I cherish making jokes and talking shit with him Also his bot contributions followed me around the majority of my career starting with New England and also with Atlanta Kenvald - Slap has been a cornerstone of the Wolfpack franchise throughout his career. Stuck around through thick and thin with multiple GMs. The definition of a franchise 1C, ultimately becoming the highest scoring Wolfpack player in history! The user behind Slap McShotty is equally fantastic. He has contributed to the locker room and war room at a great level. Always being friendly and punny. And his discord bot has brought a lot of laughter, and some confusion at times. With that being all said and done, I would like to preset him with the HOF banner @bbjygm |
