The trip to Anchorage from Liverpool is a long one, but for Sean Davies, it went by in a flash. This trip was the culmination of years of hard work capped off by a surprising early second round selection. When he finally landed after travelling halfway around the world, the first thing the exhausted Davies did was swing by Sullivan Center to meet with GM Ragnar and introduce himself to the team. After a warm welcome from the GM, Davies prepared himself to meet the team. He knew there were high expectations on him, and to say he was nervous was an understatement. Nonetheless he walked into the room and was greeted by the many smiling faces of the current team, and even some of his newly drafted teammates. All his nervousness evaporated quickly as everyone was quick to welcome the team, albeit with plenty of good natured ribbing for the fresh faced rook. In that brief first meeting before he left to get some much needed sleep, Davies knew he had found something special. And as the jet lagged Davies finally crashed into bed, he did so with a smile on his place, knowing that he had found himself a new family.
