This is the start of his twentieth season of professional hockey, and he has experienced all the highs and lows that sports can offer. He has seen his Texas Renegades navigate through a long rebuild, going from bottom feeder to multiple time Challenge Cup Champions, just to see the team implode again and fall back down to the bottom of the league. However, Andreas still has the desire to play, to go out onto the ice and help his team win games, no matter how futile that effort may be. The Renegades will likely make the playoffs this season; not through any spectacular effort on their part, but because teams below them are tanking even harder. One just hopes that the Renes manage to win a game or two in the post-season this time around.
