![]() Registered Posting Freak Quote:Written Task: Tell me what's going through your players head at this last moment, seconds before their first shift after a long off-season. Are they nervous? Excited? Maybe stressed? Are there specific people or moments that come to their mind? Do they need to settle down in a moment like this to play their best? If so, how? Or are you the type of player with ice in your veins that thrives in exciting moments like this? (150+ words) It's been a long and hectic offseason for Noel Blanchet. After an early playoff exit disappointment, the Platoon blew it up and Noel was traded early in the offseason to the Winnipeg Aurora. Noel hadn't really been expecting it so his life was kind of thrust into chaos upon hearing the news. It was a ton of work shifting his life from Baltimore up north to Winnipeg, not something he was prepared for. He felt as thought it kind of affected his mindset and his offseason training. Once he got himself settled though he worked out harder than he ever has and feels as though this version of him going into his first season in Winnipeg is his best yet. He's hoping this season he can kick the playoff failures of the past and bring home a championship. Waiting for the puck to drop, he's nervous. He's been traded to a new team during the peak of his career and is expected to impress. However despite the nervousness, he knows as soon as the puck drops that will all go away and its game on. ![]() Credits to OrbitingDeath, Tweedle, Incite, Wasty, and Slothfacekilla for sigs!
