Despite it normally being something that's played in a park and on flat ground, and especially normally by children, it's been one that has been carried through the histories of the two teams. The locker room always finds a way to up the ante on these games, whether it's side bets or simply being in the moment, trying to get one on top of one another. The meta strategy that also develops over time in terms of picking specific players for being called is one thing, but always comes down to the players holding on for one another, and showing the strength of unity, but also recognizing the individual brilliance that could occur at any moment if there is a single weak link. The biggest part is the joy of hazing the new players on the team who clearly have no expectations of playing such a game but still get into it anyways.
