I had the opportunity to walk into the locker room of the Falcons on three very distinct occasions.
The first time I was very young, my father Sebastien was visiting the team feeling nostalgic and wanted to see how the team he played in the J was doing and he brought me along. The second time was very recently as I signed as an undrafted free agent before the end of Season 66. I had no idea if I was going to be officially drafted by the team but I knew they had an interest in me, they remembered the history of my Father bringing them to two Four Star Cup finals during his time there and so after I heard my name being called in the second round I couldn't wait to go back but this time knowing I was going to step on the floor of the place to stay. I was well received that is for damn sure, first by management who officially welcomed me into the family and looked very happy to have me on board, and then the players who now are my new family, who welcomed me with open arms. We shared laughs, we fooled around, we drank together and we already began talking about next season and how we all want to take the league by storm and go back to the Four Star Cup. We want to hoist it over our shoulders as it happened in Season 65. Detroit is a Champion's Town, and I want to do it honor, I want to make it proud just like I want to make my own man proud. More than that, I want to achieve what he couldn't do. He did great in front of the net for the Falcons but he didn't bring the Cup to Detroit. I want to do it, and I want him to be there when it happens.
