Tony Hawkey heelflipped into the locker room in Quebec City and landed without missing a beat. He wasn't sure what he expected it to look like, but it was better. Such a historic city where hockey is beloved! Too bad, the only french he knows is when it is followed by "fries" or "toast". The team was immediately  impressed by his arsenal of flatground tricks despite being a vert skater. Introductions were made, they laughed together, they cried together. Once the formalities were over, they got down to brass tax. Tony was bombarded with requests to share pictures of his pets. Tony, being the crowd pleaser that he is, obliged. Many players, new and old, shared their pet pics and if he had any anxiety left about being on a new team, it was no longer there. Quebec City was now his home, and he was going to make the most of it.
