Last Newfoundland was not very good. But thankfully in the Simulation Major Junior Hockey League it is very doable to quickly turn around the whole team with a few players. The first critical player in helping Newfoundland to turn things around would be Brennan Kennedy III. As a rookie BK3 had 25 goals and 15 assists for 40 points in 66 games. If he can continue to further develop his offensive skillset he'll probably be the team's greatest weapon on offense and will likely play a critical role on the bulk of goals this season. Next would be winger Ashton King who is entering what will likely be his final season in NL. He's the most experienced member of NL's top line and will likely be providing the leadership that the team will need to accomplish their goals this season! Lastly we'll need Rasmus Bergling to hold things down on the blue line and keep us in the games. If we can do all this we can have a good season.
