Look at this upcoming season for Newfoundland, I think it is going to be an uphill battle since we did not have the greatest preseason showing. I think we have a good core of up and coming players and also a lot of veteran players with significant experience in the league that the young players will have to learn from and grow throughout the year to have a successful season. The first player who will be a key to Newfoundlands success is going to be Rasmus Bergling, who is one of the leaders of the team being named a captain and is also one of the top defenseman for the berserkers who is able to produce both offensively and defensively. The next player who will be a key for the Berserkers is Ashton King who is a veteran on the team being in his fourth season in the SMJHL. King brings a lot of offensive presence and is expected to be one of the top playmakers for Newfoundland this season. The last key player to the Berserkers success this season will come from Brennan Kennedy III who will most likely be leaned on heavily to put the puck in the net. Kennedy will be playing on the top line with King this year so with this duo together the Berserkers will be looking for a lot of goals coming from these two. Overall Newfoundland will be looking at contributions from all players on the roster and if that happens then it will turn out to be a very good season.
