Player Prompt:
Hockey isn't huge in Denmark, but growing up in a huge city like Copenhagen, you are bound to run into all kinds of things, and hockey was something Nikolai Skovgaard was around a fair bit at an early age. His father was a big fan of the local club, the Herlev Eagles of the Danish Metal Ligaen, and Nikolai was obsessed with the sport right away. He was always looking for chances to get out on the ice and play some hockey, even if it was something like field hockey. He spent a lot of time as a teenager playing in a local youth league, where he dominated the local scene with his smooth skating abilities. Nikolai heard from a local sports agent about this league in north america called the simluation hockey league, and thought he would be good enough to try and get into that league. After some paperwork and few on ice workouts, he found himself drafted by the Quebec City Citadelles and the rest was history. |
