First and foremost, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff that keep the SMJHL running. Without you, this wouldn't be possible for any of us. 

In my very first season in the SMJHL, it exceeded all expectations of what I thought it would be. I would have never thought that by the end of my first season I would be an assistant captain on the team, help the war room with scouting, an update auditor, and Co-GMing team Canada at the WJC. Safe to say that I have dove head first into the deep end, and I am not only surviving, but thriving. 

In terms of on ice performance, I am satisfied with my play. I have made a positive impact on my team, growing on and off the ice, inside the locker room. With my continued growth I only expect better performances from myself and my team. A memory that really stood out to me this season was our locker room growing stronger despite the growing pains we were experiencing on the ice and in the standings. We rallied together and showed real heart in the post season.

I am looking forward to being drafted and showing that I belong in the league. However, I do have unfinished business, I would like to win and bring the cup to the Yukon before my time is done in the SMJHL.
