SHL GM SHL GM Code: PLAYER PROMPT - What is your player's attitude towards media scrums in general? I don’t mind talking after games, the hard part is when dumb questions are asked, not giving the reporter a hard time about it. And trust me, during my career I have heard some TERRIBLE questions. It is part of the gig though. We are professional athletes and people want to know our thoughts on different parts of the game. As a member of the leadership group of the Argonauts, I am usually looked upon to answer questions after a really tough games, and I absolutely step up for players who need protecting. That is all part of the job. I love it though, my teammates are everything to me, and I will always have their back, even if it means being on the front line taking the grenades. It is a responsibility I have been given and one that I have earned. There is nothing that would change the way I feel about the guys around me. They have done so much to support me during my career, standing up for them is the least I can do. After all, we are more than teammates, we are family. _________________ 189 words _________________ |
