Sarah Burke has never been a huge fan of being in the spotlight. She's out there to play hockey and doesn't really care much for all the media bits in between, especially given that early in her career a lot of the questions had to do with her trades and just kind of moving around the league. But it's a big part of the game she eventually got used to dealing with. Now that she's been in the league so long she doesn't get too many requests to answer questions and leaves most of the highlights to the young guys coming and going. That said, when the need comes up she will step in for another player who dreads the tough questions, and she will go in and provide the veteran's perspective on things when she's called upon. But she doesn't really give the media anything too flashy or deep, just your typical "get pucks deep, find a way to win" kind of responses that you see in just about every interview.
