Work is chaos, received final confirmation today that I will indeed be employed through September, something that was not at all guaranteed until then. So I'm already dealing with all that, and then...you know. Surprise player retirements! Surprise multiple thunderdome days! Surprise deep (and necessary but still mentally demanding) conversations about social issues! I am going on vacation three weeks from today and I feel like I haven't needed it more at any point since the early pandemic days.

I am sorry you have been having a terrible, horrible week. But there are many of us who truly appreciate the work you do here and more importantly how amazing of a person you are.
