Svoboda has really been letting this whole arena thing get to his head. Once he knew it was going to be named after him, his ego grew exponentially. After having been a very reserved player his whole career, he's really become quite insufferable to those around him.

That was until the puck finally dropped in his team's first game in the college arena. It was a much smaller venue, of course, but the atmosphere was electric. As the game started, Svoboda's mind went back to his roots, when he started playing hockey as a child. All those games he played around his country in rinks of many shapes and sized. He came to realize that the game remained the same everywhere he went. As the match went on, he became more and more focused on his game, and winning it for his team.

As the game wrapped up, Svoboda left the rink with a whole new look on the game he so loved.
