After counter bribery and some high-moral blackmail, the team finally convinced the gaffer to use actual contractors instead of his nephew to build the new stadium. So we can at least count on the ceiling to stay where it's at when we are playing or practicing. But that means that we are going to have to hang out at this dinky college rink for at least one more season before we get to enjoy the new facilities. And while not ideal, I still was grateful. It could have been a lot worse. At least we are getting to play! And besides, the majority of hockey fans stream the game at home anyways, so it's not like we're losing fans over this. If anything, these seats prices will be driven up because of demand and supply or something. People are going to want to claim they saw James Ward-Prowse play at their local rink before he became the SHL's best player.
