The Aliens, with their bulbous heads, long limbs, short bodies we're ideal for hockey or really any kind of human sport at all. I knew it'd be a challenge for them to become any good at any part of it. Even skating seemed beyond them for the most part, as they stumbled around, sliding this way and that like baby giraffes. I had to forbid them from using any of their telepathic powers too. They wanted so badly to just mind bend the puck into the net at every opportunity. With that rule established, I taught them as I would any rookie and it went...well enough. Without their powers and being so ill made for it, they were terrible at it and after a few hours, they slunk back dejectedly to their ships and left. Really, they just were not cut out for hockey and any junior team would have been able to beat them.
