Story Mode:

If these robots are anything like their counterparts in Chel, Darnell should be able to play against them with no big problem. See, the thing is, they don't really understand the game. They just like to hit really hard and pressure whoever has the puck, so quick passes, keep your head up, and keep heading down the ice and you should be okay. Plus there's that age old wraparound exploit that you can do for just about guaranteed goals every time, unless that got patched out finally. The biggest advantage the robots probably have is that they don't get tired or fatigued on the ice, and that's certainly a pretty big advantage. But they probably lack the creativity of a team, and if they rely on the same breakout every time, it'll be easy to predict and get ahead of. Plus think about all the chirps you can hand out to these guys, rust bucket, bucket of bolts, clunker... It's practically uncharted territory.
